		<description>Thanks for this article. I found it very useful. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to get a scaling SVG object in Chrome.

A down side of this approach, although I haven&#039;t found anything better, is that Opera, Chrome and probably other webkit browsers ignore JavaScript in the SVG file when using the img tag. So if you were planning on having animations or interactive features that work in all SVG supporting browsers and also wanted to make your SVG scale, this won&#039;t solve the problem.

It looks like there are a lot of open bugs related to intrinsic object height and width in the WebKit issue tracker but nothing seems to have been done. I hope that someone finds the time to work on it.</description>
